Jahra District to get new health center
Dr. Jamal Al-Duaij, the director of the Jahra Health District, has announced the imminent opening and commencement of operations at the new Abdali Health Center, under the name “Ali Muhammad Thunayan Al-Ghanim Center,” this month.
Dr Al-Duaij told Al-Jarida daily that the center encompasses various departments and specialties, including dental services, minor accident care, medical observation, medical laboratories, and a pharmacy, among other medical facilities. He emphasized that the upcoming period will witness a rapid completion and delivery of high-quality and distinguished services at the center, including the implementation of an automated system.
He confirmed that he personally inspected the construction progress at the new Abdali Health Center. Additionally, he conducted assessments of the ongoing activities at the existing Abdali Health Center, examining the pharmacy and nursing departments.
He engaged with patients to understand their needs and suggestions, overseeing the treatment of some individuals. Al-Duaij underscored the commitment to providing essential medications to address the requirements of patients and visitors in the Abdali area throughout the year, around the clock.
Commending the guidance and efforts of the Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadi, and the acting Undersecretary of the Ministry, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi, in overseeing and facilitating the procedures for the new center’s opening, Dr Al-Duaij urged all staff members at the center to diligently fulfill their responsibilities to meet the demands of work and visitors alike.
