Jaber Al-Ali asphalt paving underway for smoother, safer roads

The Minister of Public Works, Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, has announced the launch of extensive maintenance work in the Jaber Al-Ali area of Ahmadi Governorate under new contracts.
Emphasizing the ministry’s dedication to improving infrastructure, Minister Al-Mashaan reaffirmed that road maintenance projects will be carried out across all areas with strict adherence to quality assurance and international standards, ensuring a more advanced and durable road network.
Minister Al-Mishaan stated in a press release last Friday that before initiating major maintenance work in the Jaber Al-Ali area, the relevant teams conducted thorough inspections to assess the required repairs.
The maintenance will begin in the most affected areas first, gradually extending to less affected zones, with continuous supervision, monitoring, and follow-up by the ministry’s teams to ensure quality and efficiency.
Minister Al-Mishaan stressed about the importance of coordination in addressing outstanding road maintenance issues and urged the implementing companies to expedite completion while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. She also highlighted the need to follow approved technical specifications and adhere strictly to the agreed-upon schedule.
Moreover, Minister Al-Mishaan encouraged road users to stay updated through the General Traffic Department regarding any road closures to avoid congestion.
Additionally, Minister Al-Mishaan urged residents to be patient and cooperate with the relevant authorities to ensure the timely completion of maintenance work, which includes covering with a new asphalt layer.
