According to Totonji, “The scene of shaping the future of the Islamic Republic of Iran for the next four years took place in an honest and fair atmosphere, contributing to the country’s future and enhancing security and stability in the region.”
Ambassador Totonji emphasized that all candidates participated in open and honest debates, which were broadcasted by Iranian media. Both candidates, Saeed Jalili and Masoud Pezeshkian, presented their ideas and programs, allowing the Iranian people to make an informed choice.
He assured that voters had the freedom to choose their candidate in complete secrecy. The embassy maintained neutrality between the two candidates.

He praised the political awareness and patriotism of the Iranian expatriates in Kuwait, who braved the heat to vote, showing their love for both Iran and Kuwait.
