
Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan, H.E. Reza Amiri-Moghaddam, said on Tuesday that diplomatic efforts aimed at ending the war are entering what he described as a critical and decisive phase.
In a post on the social media platform X, the ambassador praised Pakistan’s “positive and constructive” role in efforts to halt what he described as the ongoing war involving the United States and Israel against Iran, noting that mediation attempts are now approaching a “crucial and sensitive” stage, reports Al-Qabas daily.
His remarks come just hours ahead of a deadline reportedly set by U.S. President Donald Trump, who has warned of severe action against Iranian infrastructure if no agreement is reached and if the Strait of Hormuz remains closed.
