Iran declares Musk’s Middle East assets, including Starlink, as military targets

Trump claims imminent US strike on Iran tonight and threatens control of key oil hub but no official confirmation has been issued by US authorities

Iranian state media has reported that Tehran will treat all Middle East-linked interests of Elon Musk as military targets, including SpaceX’s Starlink satellite internet service and associated regional ground infrastructure.

According to a report by Fars News Agency, the statement indicated that Iran would consider all economic and operational assets linked to Musk’s companies in the Middle East as legitimate targets, framing the move as a response to heightened tensions with the United States.

The report suggested that the warning extends to Starlink operations and supporting facilities in the region, as part of what Tehran described as retaliatory measures amid escalating geopolitical friction with Washington.

In a separate development, US President Donald Trump issued a statement on social media claiming that the United States will launch a “very hard” strike on Iran “tonight.”

Trump also asserted that US forces would soon move to take control of Kharg Island, Iran’s key oil-export hub, along with other strategic energy infrastructure locations.

The statements come amid rapidly rising tensions between the United States and Iran, with both sides exchanging increasingly direct warnings over military and energy-related targets.

No official confirmation has been issued by US authorities regarding the claims made in Trump’s post.
