Interior Ministry denies rumors of terror cell bust in Kuwait
. . . warns against spreading false information

The Ministry of Interior has firmly denied reports circulating on some social media platforms claiming that a terrorist cell has been busted inside Kuwait, stating that the information is completely unfounded and not based on any official source.
The ministry stressed that all matters related to national security are handled with full transparency and through established official procedures, confirming that any security-related developments or investigations, if confirmed, would be announced through official channels.
The Ministry of Interior urged the public to exercise caution, verify information through authorized sources and avoid sharing unverified reports or rumors that can create confusion or affect public confidence.
It emphasized that official announcements from the Ministry of Interior and recognized state institutions remain the only reliable sources for security-related information.
The ministry further warned that publishing or circulating false news, particularly information that could harm public interest or undermine security, may expose individuals to legal accountability under Kuwait’s applicable laws and regulations.
