Indian Muslim Association (IMA) conducts public programme on ‘Isra-Wal-Meraaj’
On the occasion of Isra wal Meraaj, Indian Muslim Association (IMA) Kuwait conducted a public program on ‘Isra wal Meraaj‘successfully on 8th February 2024, at Masjid Yousef Al Adsani in Maliya Kuwait City. The program started right after Isha prayer, attracting a huge gathering, including families and children who came to attend it from different parts of Kuwait.
The event was graced by distinguished speakers who offered profound reflections on significant topics.
Mr. Shamvil Parvez, former IMA President, delivered a speech on the ‘Current Situation of Masjid Al Aqsa & Muslims.‘ He shed light on the sacredness of the Holy Land, its current challenges, and the responsibilities of Muslims as an Ummah. He also highlighted the illegal occupation and attempts to alter its demographic and religious character.
Mr. Mohammed Umar Falahi, IMA President, delivered the second speech of the evening on the ‘Message of Isra wal Meraaj.‘ He gavea brief description of Prophet Muhammad’s ﷺ(PBUH) journey during the night of ascension, from the Kaaba in Makka to Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, where he led the prophets in prayer. Then, the ascension continued through the heavens, during which he met with various Prophets before reaching close proximity to Allah. During this journey, the Prophet received instructions from Allah, including the commandment for Muslims to pray five times a day. His talk empowered the audience with spiritual insights and guiding principles for their lives ahead.
Br Jawwad Khan rendered a beautiful Islamic Nashit on Masjid Al Aqsa & Muslims Emotions, captivating the audience with his melodious voice, stirring their hearts with love and reverence for the holy site.
Mr. Abdul Lateef Al Munaifee, the host nation guest, from MaktabTawoon Jamiatul Islah and Mr. Mohamed Ali from the Ministry of Awqaf graced the event with their presence and thanked IMA Kuwaitfor organizing such an impactful event for the awareness in community.
The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Mr. Mohammed Fazil and was convened by Mr Osaib. At the end of the program, dinner packets were served to all attendees.
