IMA Kuwait takes first prize in Radio Kuwait’s Anwaar-e-Ramadan event

The event celebrated the spirit and values of the holy month through a variety of cultural and Islamic knowledge-based segments designed to inspire and engage participants across Kuwait.

With heartfelt gratitude to Allah, the Indian Muslim Association (IMA) Kuwait announced its First Prize win in the prestigious ‘Anwaar-e-Ramadan’ competition, organized by Radio Kuwait’s Foreign Services Department as part of its special Ramadan programming.

The event celebrated the spirit and values of the holy month through a variety of cultural and Islamic knowledge-based segments designed to inspire and engage participants across Kuwait. IMA Kuwait’s performance stood out for its meaningful content, passionate delivery, and the active participation of its youth members, earning them top honors in the competition.

At a prestigious award ceremony held at the Ministry of Information, Sheikha Shejoun Al-Sabah, Director of Programs for Foreign Services at Radio Kuwait, personally presented the Certificate of Excellence and a commemorative shield to IMA Kuwait and its deserving winners. The event was attended by respected members of the organizing committee, educators, and proud representatives of the IMA family. Her encouraging words and gracious hospitality made the occasion truly memorable for all attendees.

The winners—a group of enthusiastic and talented students from IMA Kuwait’s Youth Division—were recognized for their outstanding efforts in the competition. Their dedication, creativity, and deep understanding of Islamic values were evident in their submissions, which resonated strongly with both the judges and the audience.

List of IMA Kuwait Awardees:

Huda Ismail, Areeba Mahreen Mohammed, Mohammed Ibrahim Khan, Afifa Firdaus, Muhammad Abdul Rafey, Mr. Muhammad Umar, Mr. Mohammed Wajid Ali, and Mrs. Yasmeen Begum.

This triumph is a testament to the hard work, creativity, and Islamic spirit of IMA students and mentors, who dedicated their time and efforts to preparing for the competition.
