IMA Kuwait organizes blood donation camp in response to urgent call

Despite the short notice, the camp at the Adan Blood Donation Center attracted a remarkable turnout as donors generously contributed to the cause.

In response to an urgent call from the Kuwait Central Blood Bank regarding a critical shortage of blood, the Indian Muslim Association (IMA) Kuwait swiftly organized a blood donation camp on Friday, April 12, at the Adan Blood Donation Center. Despite the short notice, the camp attracted a remarkable turnout as donors generously contributed to the cause.

Mr. Abdul Mohsin Al Lahu, Manager of the Community Section at the Social Reform Society Kuwait, attended the event as a special guest and expressed gratitude towards IMA for their proactive initiative.

The donors were recognized and appreciated with certificates for their invaluable contributions. The Adan Blood Bank staff was also acknowledged for their exceptional dedication to the community with certificates of appreciation.

Dr. Asmaa Raafat, Head of the Mobile Blood Donation Unit at the Central Blood Bank, extended congratulations and heartfelt thanks to IMA for their swift response and unwavering support, which ensured the successful execution of the event.

IMA expressed heartfelt appreciation to all volunteers who selflessly dedicated their time and efforts to organize the event, foregoing their Eid celebrations and activities in the spirit of service to humanity. The event stands as a testament to the community’s unity and commitment to supporting critical causes.
