ICAI Kuwait Chapter marks CA Day 2026 with cultural and family celebration

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Kuwait Chapter (ICAIKC), celebrated CA Day 2026 with a grand cultural and family event recently, at the Crowne Plaza Auditorium, bringing together members of the CA fraternity and their families for an evening of celebration, talent and togetherness.

The event for ICAIKC was the Chapter’s first-ever cultural celebration, launched under the vision of Chairman CA Venkata Ramana Badida, under the theme “One Profession, One Family, Infinite Talents.”

The event brought under one roof more than 200 members and guests, highlighting the strong bond and community spirit within the CA fraternity in Kuwait.

The celebration was honored by the presence of Chief Guest CA Charanjot Singh Nanda, Past President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and the current Chairperson of the Artificial Intelligence Committee of ICAI.

The evening began with a welcome address by CA Sweta Chipra, Vice Chairperson of ICAIKC, who highlighted the significance of the occasion and expressed appreciation to the organizing committee for bringing the chapter’s first cultural initiative to life.

The formal proceedings included the national anthems of Kuwait and India, the CA motto song, a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, and a cake-cutting celebration.

In his keynote address, CA Charanjot Singh Nanda reflected on the history and importance of CA Day. He emphasized the value of passion, dedication and the desire to achieve excellence.

He noted that true success extends beyond financial achievements, with its greatest meaning found in serving society and creating a positive impact.

Following the formal session, CA Sriram Gopalakrishnan hosted the cultural segment, which showcased the diverse talents of CA members and their families.

The event featured energetic dance performances, vocal presentations and instrumental acts by participants of different age groups, creating an atmosphere of celebration and family engagement.

The talented performers were recognized and felicitated on stage by the Chief Guest and members of the ICAIKC Executive Committee in appreciation of their creativity and contribution to the memorable evening.

The celebration concluded with an interactive networking session over tea and refreshments, providing members and guests an opportunity to connect and strengthen professional and personal relationships.

A vote of thanks was delivered by CA Tanujh Singh, who expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest, organizing team, members and families for their valuable participation and support.

ICAIKC also extended its appreciation to the media partner The Times Kuwait, for its continued support in promoting the Chapter’s initiatives. The Chapter also acknowledged the contribution of its annual sponsors for their ongoing support.

Through this CA Day celebration, ICAI Kuwait Chapter reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening community connections, encouraging member engagement and creating platforms that bring the professional fraternity together as one united family.
