“His Highness the Amir” emphasizes competitive economic environment to boost foreign cooperation

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect him, with the presence of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, may God protect him, received the Chairman and CEO of BlackRock, Mr. Larry Fink, and his accompanying delegation at Bayan Palace this morning during his visit to Kuwait.

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah emphasized the importance of supporting investment and economic opportunities, highlighting the need to create a competitive economic environment.

Regarding collaborations, His Highness the Amir stressed the significance of enhancing strategic cooperation with foreign companies, diversifying the productive and development base, and focusing on the transfer and localization of knowledge.

His Highness the Amir also emphasized attracting capital to support the national economy, develop Kuwaiti human capital, and create job opportunities for young people, all of which contribute to advancing development in the country.

Importantly, the Chairman and CEO of BlackRock, Mr. Larry Fink, emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation with the State of Kuwait and working to support the objectives of Kuwait Vision 2035.

The interview was attended by the Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment, Noura Sulaiman Al-Fassam, and the Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority, Sheikh Dr. Meshaal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
