HH the Amir receives UAE Vice-President Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed at Bayan Palace

His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received this afternoon at Bayan Palace His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of the Presidential Court of the United Arab Emirates, who is currently on an official visit to the country. The meeting took place in the presence of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mansour conveyed the warm greetings and deep appreciation of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, as well as the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai. Both UAE leaders extended their best wishes for the continued health and well-being of His Highness the Amir and for ongoing prosperity and development for the State of Kuwait and its people, according to news reports.

In response, His Highness the Amir expressed his sincere greetings to the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, wishing them continued health and wellness. He also prayed to Almighty God to grant the UAE and its people further growth and prosperity under their wise and visionary leadership.
The meeting featured cordial discussions that reflected the strong and historic fraternal ties between Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral cooperation across various fields to serve their mutual interests. Regional and international developments, as well as issues of common concern, were also addressed.

Also in attendance were First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef Al-Sabah and a number of senior state officials.
