HH the Amir hails historic ties with France, invites Macron to visit Kuwait

His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, sent a cable of thanks to French President Emmanuel Macron, expressing his deep appreciation for the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended to him and the accompanying delegation during their official visit to France.
In his message, His Highness emphasized the strength and depth of the historic relationship between Kuwait and France, which spans over six decades and continues to flourish on the foundations of mutual respect, trust, and enduring friendship between the two nations and their peoples.
His Highness praised the friendly and constructive atmosphere that prevailed throughout the meetings and talks held during the visit. He noted that the visit served as a valuable opportunity for consultation and exchange of views on various regional and international issues of shared concern.
Expressing optimism about the outcomes of the visit, the Amir affirmed his confidence that the discussions will further advance the strategic partnership between the two countries and expand bilateral cooperation across all sectors, in line with the aspirations of both peoples for a more prosperous and collaborative future.
Concluding his message, His Highness extended an official invitation to President Macron to visit Kuwait at a time of his choosing and expressed his warmest personal wishes for the French leader’s continued health, happiness, and success. He also conveyed his hopes for further progress and prosperity for the French Republic and its people.
