“Health Ministry” Fully prepared with integrated medical plan for Kuwait Summit
The official spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, announced that the Ministry has completed all preparations for the 45th Gulf Summit, which will be hosted by the State of Kuwait.
Dr. Al-Sanad stated that, Medical efforts continue, and work is underway with full readiness, within an integrated system and a comprehensive plan, with close follow-up and supervision from the Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi.
What’s more is that Dr. Al-Sanad pointed out that the hospitals will operate tomorrow, Sunday, 1 December, on a shift system to ensure the continuity of medical services at the required quality, while most of the primary health care centers on duty across the various governorates will operate round the clock.
Dr. Al-Sanad pointed out that the Central Blood Bank in Jabriya and the Cooperative Blood Transfusion Center in the Ahmadi Health District, will operate tomorrow, Sunday, 1 December, from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm. Additionally, the Central Blood Bank in Jabriya will be available for platelet donations from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.
Apart from this, Dr. Al-Sanad praised the team spirit and efforts of the health sector workers, wishing the honorable guests and everyone continued health and safety.
Dr. Al-Sanad emphasized that the Ministry is working with utmost diligence and efficiency to provide high-quality medical services, reflecting the readiness of the health system in the State of Kuwait to handle such occasions.
