H.H. the Amir’s education vision of shaping Kuwait’s future generations
Six strategic directives put teachers, technology and student achievement at the center of national education reform

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah has reaffirmed that education is the cornerstone of Kuwait’s future, placing the transformation of the national education system among the country’s highest priorities.
His Highness has called for a forward-looking educational model built on innovation, technology, artificial intelligence, creativity and world-class learning standards to prepare future generations to lead Kuwait’s development journey.
During a meeting on Monday with Minister of Education Jalal Al-Tabtabai and senior officials of the Ministry of Education, His Highness reviewed a comprehensive report on the progress of the first round of examinations for the second academic term of the 2025/2026 academic year for students in Grades 10, 11 and 12.
While congratulating the ministry on the successful completion of the academic year, His Highness praised the dedication and commitment of education sector employees, particularly teachers, emphasizing their central role as the foundation of Kuwait’s educational system and the driving force behind student success.
The Amir’s directives reflected a clear national vision: Kuwait’s education system must evolve beyond traditional approaches and become a dynamic platform for innovation, creativity and excellence — one that equips students with the knowledge, skills and values required to compete in a rapidly changing global environment.
The Amir issued six key directives designed to accelerate education reform and ensure Kuwait’s schools are fully prepared to meet the demands of the future.

Field Monitoring and Quick Solutions: Strengthen continuous follow-up to identify challenges and address them promptly to improve education quality.
Early Academic Preparation: Ensure schools, facilities and systems are fully prepared to provide a supportive learning environment from the start of the academic year.
Teacher Empowerment and School Development: Enhance teacher training and modernize schools, recognizing educators as the foundation of education reform.
Modern Curricula with National Identity: Update learning materials to meet global standards while preserving Kuwait’s values and heritage.
Creativity and Innovation: Promote critical thinking, problem-solving and innovation to prepare students for future challenges.
AI and Digital Transformation: Integrate artificial intelligence and advanced technologies to build a modern, future-ready education system.
Meanwhile, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah received Minister of Education Jalal Al-Tabtabai and ministry officials, who presented a report on the progress of secondary school examinations.
The Crown Prince was briefed on the procedures implemented across Kuwait’s educational districts to organize examinations efficiently and provide students with a suitable and comfortable environment.
He praised the efforts of educational and administrative teams in ensuring smooth examination procedures and stressed the importance of maintaining responsibility, dedication and continuous improvement in order to enhance education quality and student outcomes.
