GTD announces temporary closure of Othman Bin Affan Street roundabout
Closure took effect on Friday and will remain in place until Tuesday, June 30
The General Traffic Department has announced the complete closure of the Othman Bin Affan Street roundabout from all directions as part of ongoing traffic management measures.
According to the Department, the closure took effect on Friday and will remain in place until Tuesday, June 30, 2026.
During the closure, motorists will be diverted through designated openings and alternative turning points located before the roundabout to ensure the continued flow of traffic.
The Traffic Department urged road users to adhere to traffic signs and instructions issued by traffic personnel, use the designated diversion routes, and allow extra travel time to avoid congestion while the temporary closure remains in effect.
