Grievance committee receives, to date, over 5,148 appeals on citizenship revocation cases
Starting today, the committee will accept grievances around the clock, seven days a week — including official holidays

The head of the Cabinet Grievance Committee for Withdrawal, Revocation, and Loss of Kuwaiti Citizenship, Counselor Ali Al-Dhubaibi, announced that the committee had received 5,148 grievances by the end of working hours today (Wednesday), reflecting significant activity from affected individuals exercising their legal right to appeal.
In a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Al-Dhubaibi revealed that, starting today, the committee will now accept grievances around the clock, seven days a week — including official holidays. This step, he said, demonstrates the committee’s commitment to simplifying procedures and ensure that all eligible individuals can file their complaints without delay.
Al-Dhubaibi clarified that the grievance process is open to all individuals who have had their Kuwaiti citizenship withdrawn, revoked, or lost, as per the recent official announcement. He emphasized the importance of relying solely on accredited and official sources for information and cautioned against spreading rumors or misinformation.
He further stated that the committee will not consider any grievances previously submitted or submitted through channels other than the newly specified process.
He confirmed that the submission portal for grievances officially opened last Sunday, and affected individuals must submit their requests exclusively through the committee’s electronic platform: www.cmgs.gov.kw.
