Gratitude in victory: Bouresli extends thanks for election success

Counselor Adel Bouresli, the Head of the Supreme Judicial Council, extended his gratitude to the judiciary members, the Chairman and members of the Advisory Committee overseeing the National Assembly elections, as well as to the leaders and members of all primary, central, and subsidiary electoral committees.

Bouresli, in a statement on Friday marking the end of the elections, expressed his great pleasure in extending heartfelt thanks and praise to fellow advisors, the chairman, and members of the advisory committee overseeing the elections, as well as to the leaders and members of the primary, central, and subsidiary electoral committees, along with the judiciary members, for their tireless efforts. This tremendous and remarkable effort persisted day and night, throughout the blessed month of Ramadan.

He added that this served as motivation for them to redouble their commitment to fulfilling their national duty. They carried out this duty with ability, efficiency, and transparency, demonstrating the highest levels of responsibility, honesty, and trust. This dedication continued until the elections culminated in remarkable success, marked by excellence, integrity, and impartiality, which were appreciated and acknowledged by all participants, observers, and followers both within and outside the State of Kuwait. From the preparation and exemplary supervision to the announcement of the results, these procedures and stages showcased the cultural foundation of Kuwait and its deep-rooted democracy, which has flourished since its inception in its most admirable form.

For its part, the Advisory Committee overseeing the National Assembly elections extended its gratitude and appreciation to the leaders and members of the primary, central, and subsidiary electoral committees, all of whom are judiciary members. They were thanked “for their tremendous and remarkable efforts, especially amidst the fasting conditions that heightened the challenges of carrying out their national duty in supervising the electoral process.”

A statement issued on behalf of the Chairman of the Committee, Counselor Saleh Al-Hammadi, and the Committee members stated, “Through the grace, praise, and success of God Almighty, your diligence, commitment, and dedication to ensuring the election’s integrity and fostering a transparent and impartial environment have yielded results that have been witnessed near and far. You have truly been the solid foundation and strong fortress that has instilled confidence among all parties involved in this electoral process.”

“The support and assistance provided by Sadiq, the Counselor and President of the Supreme Judicial Council, the Counselor and Minister of Justice, the officials at the Ministry of Justice, the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Defense and Interior, and the personnel of the Ministry of Interior have also contributed significantly to this effort. Their collaboration reflects a spirit of cooperation and a commitment to coordination, ensuring the stability and security both within and outside the electoral committees,” Al-Hammadi added.

The statement added, “Furthermore, the personnel of the Ministry of Information were diligent in portraying the civilized image of the State of Kuwait by broadcasting live audio, written, or visual updates of the proceedings within the electoral committees. This support and coordination are directly guided and monitored in the field by His Highness the Prime Minister.”

He concluded by saying, “Finally, we extend our congratulations to all members of the National Assembly on their success, and we pray for their continued success and prosperity. We also congratulate the beloved State of Kuwait, including the Emir, the government, and the people, on the success of this unique democratic experiment, which has become a model to be emulated. We invoke the grace of God Almighty to preserve the civilization and prosperity of our dear homeland, under the guidance of His renaissance and led by His Highness the Emir of the country, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect and bless him.”
