Fresh water supply disrupted in Sabah Al-Ahmad

The Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy announced Friday afternoon that repair work on the fresh water line in the residential city of Sabah Al-Ahmad has been completed. According to a blog post on the ministry’s account on the “X” platform, operational pressures in the area are being monitored until the situation is fully restored.

Earlier, the ministry reported a break in the line supplying water to the residential towers of Sabah Al-Ahmad City, leading to a disruption in water supply to the city. The break occurred on Wednesday evening in the 1,200 mm line feeding the towers. Emergency teams from the ministry were promptly dispatched to repair the line, reports Al-Jarida daily.
