French School of Kuwait holds graduation ceremony for class of 2024

The “Lycée Français de Koweït” (LFK) held its annual graduation ceremony of the high school students for the 2023-2024 academic year on Sunday 23rd June, under the patronage of the French Ambassador to Kuwait H.E. Claire Le Flécher. The ceremony was graced by the presence of the school owners Mrs. Mona Al-Khalid and Dr. Fahad Al-Rashed.

The Cultural Advisor to the French Embassy Mr. Benoît Cathalaalso was present along with the parents of the students, the teachers and the members of the LFK team, notable dignitaries and the media.

Her Excellency the Ambassador of the Republic of France gave a speech on the occasion congratulating the students on their success.

Mr. Attias, the school principal, also gave a speech congratulating the graduating students, and thanking their parents for their proactive role and efforts in supporting their children. He also thanked the school academic body and the administration at the French School of Kuwait for their valuable efforts in the implementation of the French school system.

The Baccalaureate Degree is a very important milestone in the lives of students of the French education system and the French educational program. This degree opens the doors to the students for acceptance at any university or institution of higher education anywhere in the world.

During this ceremony, the graduating students presented a cultural performance, and had brief individual introductions and presentations about themselves.

The graduates later took commemorative photos with their families and with their teachers.
