Five firefighting teams contain vehicle blaze at Naeem Scrapyard in Salmi

The Kuwait Fire Force said five firefighting engines were deployed to tackle a blaze that broke out in a vehicle at the Naeem car scrapyard located in the Salmi area.

According to Al-Jarida daily, the fire, which threatened to spread through the densely packed site, was swiftly brought under control, thanks to the rapid and coordinated efforts of the responding teams.

According to the Fire Department, the incident was contained without any injuries or casualties. The teams acted promptly upon receiving the report, preventing the fire from engulfing adjacent vehicles or scrap materials, which could have led to a much larger disaster.

The Fire Force emphasized that the quick intervention played a crucial role in limiting the scale of the damage and avoiding potential escalation, especially in an area with high fire risk due to the concentration of flammable materials.

Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
