Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, has launched a spring camp for female inmates in correctional institutions. This initiative, reported by Al Jaridanewspaper, is part of the Ministry of Interior’s efforts to enhance rehabilitation and recreational programs for female inmates.
Al-Yousef emphasized that these initiatives align with the ministry’s commitment to international human rights standards, reflecting its dedication to preserving the dignity of female inmates, providing a reformative environment that upholds all their rights, and preparing them to return to society as productive and contributing individuals.
He added that the camp aims to create a positive and supportive environment for female inmates, improving their psychological well-being and enhancing their readiness for effective reintegration into society through innovative activities and comprehensive rehabilitation programs.
