Farwaniya Municipality approves road linking Al-Mubarak University with Seventh Ring Road
The Farwaniya Governorate Committee of the Municipal Council has approved the Public Authority for Roads and Land Transport’s request to build a road connecting the university campus in Abdullah Al-Mubarak to the Seventh Ring Road.
The request was combined with a proposal by Municipal Council Vice Chairman Khaled Al-Mutairi, to expand the entrance and exit at Gate 2 of Sabah Al-Salem University City.
During its meeting today, Wednesday, March 12, chaired by Khaled Al-Mutairi, the committee referred a proposal by member Walid Al-Dagher, to establish an entrance in the area south of Abdullah Al-Mubarak, along with another proposal to create an entrance south of Seventh Street, to the executive body. It also recommended utilizing the sites of the “Ride & Park” project for a technical study.
The committee approved the request to reorganize a plot within Block No. 15 in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, but returned a letter concerning the construction of a service street in the Sabah Al-Nasser area along the Sixth Ring Road, to the executive authority for necessary amendments.
