Farwaniya Governor opens new four-way traffic signal to boost road safety

Sheikh Athbi Al-Nasser, Governor of Farwaniya, inaugurated the newly completed four-way traffic signal at the intersection of Jordan Street and Mohammed Bin Al-Qasim Street, marking a key step in enhancing the governorate’s road infrastructure and traffic flow.

The ceremony was attended by Eid Al-Rashidi, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Works; Brigadier General Yahya Dashti, Assistant Director of Security for Farwaniya; Colonel Raed Al-Sulaiman, Director of Traffic for Farwaniya; alongside several security officials and representatives from the Ministry of Public Works, reports Al-Rai daily.

Sheikh Al-Nasser emphasized that the project forms part of an integrated strategy to alleviate traffic congestion, improve road safety, and enhance the overall quality of life for residents.

He praised the coordination between relevant authorities in completing the project to the highest technical standards and reaffirmed the governorate’s ongoing commitment to implementing development initiatives that meet the evolving needs of citizens and residents.
