Farwaniya Governor calls for increased security efforts amid urban expansion

Farwaniya Governor Sheikh Athbi Al-Nasser commended the efforts of security personnel for their dedication in maintaining public safety, rapid emergency response, and effective handling of reports across the governorate.
He emphasized the importance of intensifying security efforts to meet the needs of a growing population and ongoing urban expansion in newly developed areas, reports Al-Rai daily.
The Governor made these remarks during a meeting held yesterday at the Governorate’s headquarters with key security officials, including Brigadier Abdullah Al-Snaidih, Director of Farwaniya Emergency Patrols, Lieutenant Colonel Hamad Mutlaq, Head of Emergency Patrols and Lieutenant Colonel Suleiman Mujbil, Head of Emergency Services.
During the meeting, attendees reviewed the security situation across Farwaniya, detailed operational mechanisms, and discussed strategic plans for enhancing emergency services and patrol readiness in high-density and newly urbanized zones.
Governor Al-Nasser stressed the need for continued cooperation between local authorities and security departments, highlighting that growing urban areas demand greater vigilance and proactive policing to safeguard citizens and residents alike.
At the conclusion of the meeting, emergency department officials expressed appreciation for the Governor’s ongoing support, his commitment to security coordination, and his keen interest in public safety.
