FAIPS-DPS celebrates academic excellence: Honors young scholars of 2024–25

FAIPS-DPS celebrated the outstanding academic achievements of its students from Grades 5, 6, and 7, along with those pursuing the British Curriculum, for the academic year 2024–25.
The Scholar Badge Ceremony, held on 21st May 2025 in the school auditorium, honored these meritorious students with badges and certificates, recognizing their dedication and excellence.
The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Ms. Delphine Vallier, Principal of the International British School, Kuwait. The ceremony commenced with a tribute to Kuwait, singing the national anthem, and a recitation from the Holy Quran.
The Principal, Mr. Ravi Ayanoli, welcomed the Chief Guest on stage for the ceremonial lighting of the lamp — a traditional gesture symbolizing the triumph of knowledge over ignorance. This moment was shared with the Vice-Principals, Head Mistresses, and coordinators of Grades V–VII and the British Curriculum.
Middle School Student Council leaders, Head Girl Sara Mohammed and Head Boy Anvay Bansal, extended a warm welcome to the Chief Guest and those present at the event.
In his address, Principal Ayanoli applauded the scholars’ impressive achievements and acknowledged the vital role of teachers and parents in their journey.
The cultural segment brought vibrancy to the celebration, showcasing the multifaceted talents of FAIPS students. The school choir delivered a moving rendition of Michael Jackson’s ‘Will You Be There?’ — a tribute to compassion and solidarity.
The audience was further captivated by a graceful Japanese dance, reflecting elegance and poise, followed by a powerful ‘Kalari’ performance — an energetic dance inspired by the traditional Indian martial art form, highlighting women’s empowerment and cultural heritage.
Chief Guest Ms. Vallier commended the students for their hard work and praised the school’s commitment to nurturing excellence. The ceremony culminated with the much-anticipated presentation of scholar badges and certificates, as students proudly took the stage to be honoured by school leaders.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Alizah Qumar and Swajit Biswas, the Vice Head Girl and Vice Head Boy of the Middle School Student Council. They expressed deep appreciation to the Chief Guest, Principal, faculty, parents, support staff, and fellow students for making the day a resounding success and a cherished memory for all.
