FAIPS (DPS) and Injaz Kuwait drive innovation with AI-focused business workshop

FAIPS (DPS) conducted an entrepreneurship workshop for students of Grades XII and IG2 on Wednesday, 3rd June 2026, at the school’s Multipurpose Hall in collaboration with Injaz Kuwait. The session introduced students to core concepts of artificial intelligence alongside entrepreneurial thinking.

Students explored the evolution of AI and its applications across sectors such as healthcare and aviation. Key discussions focused on how AI is transforming medical diagnostics through predictive analytics and image recognition, as well as its growing role in aviation through flight optimisation and predictive maintenance. The session also highlighted the importance of data quality in enabling effective AI systems.

A practical “Business Challenge” formed the core of the workshop, where students worked in teams to design AI-based startup ideas within a limited time. They developed business models, brand identities, and service frameworks, encouraging creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving under pressure.

Principal Mr. Ravi Ayanoli addressed the participants, stressing the importance of ethical use of technology. He emphasised that AI should be used to enhance human creativity and empathy, while also highlighting adaptability, responsible data use, and continuous learning as essential skills for the future.
The workshop provided students with a focused exposure to emerging technologies and entrepreneurial skills, encouraging them to think innovatively about future opportunities in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
