Eng Al-Subaie elected KSE chairman for 2025–2027 term

The Kuwait Society of Engineers held its regular General Assembly meeting on Wednesday at its headquarters, attended by officials from the Ministry of Social Affairs and a large group of engineers.
The meeting opened with a speech by the Society’s president, Eng. Faisal Al-Atal, who praised the efforts of volunteer engineers and highlighted the role of the Society in developing professional values and community engagement, report Al-Rai daily.
The General Assembly approved the financial and administrative reports for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2024, and authorized the incoming Board of Directors to appoint an auditor and set their compensation. During the session, Eng. Mohammed Fahid Al-Subaie was elected as the new Chairman for the 2025–2027 term.
Following the assembly, the new Board held its first meeting and distributed roles by acclamation. Eng. Rashid Al-Atal was named Vice Chairman, Eng. Fahad Al-Otaibi as Secretary, Eng. Ghazi Al-Mushaili as Treasurer, and others were assigned assistant roles and board memberships.
In his remarks, Eng. Al-Subaie thanked members for their trust and pledged to continue advancing the profession and supporting national development efforts. He emphasized the Society’s commitment to serving engineers and the wider community through professional and volunteer initiatives.
