Electronic platform launched for revoked citizenship (Article 5) and their dependents
The Central Agency for Addressing the Status of Illegal Residents (CAIR) announced the launch of an electronic platform for individuals whose Kuwaiti citizenship — previously granted under Article Five for distinguished service — has been revoked.
The platform will also be available to their dependents, provided their status before naturalization was recorded as that of an illegal resident, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to the Agency, the newly opened portal is intended to facilitate the completion of required procedures to verify the seriousness of applicants’ claims and to ensure proper documentation of their legal status.
