Dreamscape by FAIPS-DPS grade 4 students

FAIPS-DPS conducted the Annual Day for Grade 4 on Thursday, 1st February, 2024, with a lot of enthusiasm and grandeur. The program, titled ‘Our Dreams’, with a powerful message that dreams can be fulfilled only through hard work and perseverance, with the participation of every Grade 4 student and was held in the school auditorium filled to capacity.  

The program commenced with the salutation to the Kuwait National Flag followed by the Kuwait National Anthem and the Indian National Anthem, and the ceremonial Lighting of the Lamp. The Principal, Mr. Ravi Ayanoli, welcomed the chiefguests for the day, Ms. Nisreen Rubaian, representative of UNHCR to the State of Kuwait, along with her associates, Ms Eman Al Einawi and Mr. Bader Essam. While addressing the gathering, he reinforced the importance of handling children with a lot of care by parents as they are going to enter adolescence. He also told them to spend quality time with the children on a daily basis.

The morning festivities commenced with an amazing inaugural dance performance warmly welcoming everyone, which was followed by a melodious Hindi song inspiring all to reach for the sky and a mellifluous English song influencing all to believe in themselves.

What followed was a series of immaculately choreographed dance performances in captivating, colourful and vibrant costumes which left the audience mesmerized and spellbound. A fascinating fusion dance ‘Colors of Life’ portrayed the different activities in our lives. An enchanting dance drama titled ‘Sapno Ki Udaan’ came with a message to chase our dreams and never give up. The delightful French dance inspired us to adopt a healthy lifestyle. After this was an enthralling dance segment ‘Dreamers’ prompting us to cross all hurdles and move forward. The enchanting dance ‘Harmony of Hope’ came with a message to remain motivated, despite the setbacks. The audience were treated to a beautiful Arabic dance hoping for a peaceful world for children. The bedazzling Grand Finale encouraged the spirit to rise up to every occasion and give our best.

The auditorium echoed with the thunderous applause of the audience who witnessed a colourful and spectacular program leaving all in a trance. The morning came to an end with the chief guestaddressing the gathering with her inspiring words of wisdom. Ms. Nisreen Rubaian presented a book titled Question and Answers About Refugees to the school library so that children can easily understand the concept of refugees. This was followed by the Vote of Thanks by the primary school Headmistress, MsSeema Bhatnagar.
