Dr. Al-Mashaan inspects progress at Umm Al-Hayman wastewater treatment plant
Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan conducted an inspection visit to the Umm Al-Hayman Wastewater Treatment Plant on Saturday to review the latest developments and follow up on the project’s ongoing implementation phases.
During the tour, Dr. Al-Mashaan was briefed by project officials on the progress achieved, operational plans, and the technical challenges that have been successfully addressed. She stressed the importance of adhering to the approved timelines and ensuring the highest quality standards in line with established environmental and technical requirements, reports Al-Rai daily.
The minister praised the efforts of the project’s engineering and supervisory teams, noting that the Umm Al-Hayman facility represents a vital and strategic infrastructure project that plays a key role in enhancing the country’s sanitation services and supporting sustainable development.
