Deputy Chief of Staff inspects ammunition disposal sites in Northern Kuwait

In a field visit conducted early this morning, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Army, Major General Pilot Sabah Al-Jaber, toured several northern sites designated for the disposal of ammunition overseen by the Supply and Catering Authority. Upon arrival, he was received by Brigadier General Abdulhadi Al-Rajhi, Commander of the Weapons and Ammunition Command, along with a number of senior officers.

During the visit, Major General Al-Jaber received a comprehensive briefing on the operational procedures followed in the ammunition and weapons depots. The presentation highlighted the implementation of advanced safety protocols and quality standards aimed at maintaining secure handling and storage practices, reports Al-Rai daily.

The tour also included on-site inspections of the designated ammunition burning and detonation zones, allowing the Deputy Chief of Staff to observe firsthand how obsolete and excess munitions are safely disposed of using rigorous technical and administrative procedures.

Concluding the visit, Major General Al-Jaber praised the professionalism and preparedness of the Arms and Ammunition Command. He commended their high level of competence in fulfilling their duties and emphasized the ongoing need to enhance disposal procedures. He noted that continued development in this area is essential for safeguarding the lives and well-being of all personnel involved.
