CSC announces full restoration of government working hours starting next Sunday

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) announced Wednesday the resumption of normal official working hours across all government entities at full 100 percent workforce starting next Sunday, based on a Council of Ministers decision.
In a statement on the X platform, the Commission said the Cabinet, during its meeting Tuesday, directed raising workforce capacity to full attendance effective Sunday, May 3, restoring normal working hours without reductions and reinstating evening shifts, reports Kuna.
It added that a circular was issued Wednesday notifying all government entities of the return to full workforce levels, reinstatement of evening work systems, and resumption of standard official hours, including a seven-hour morning work schedule.
The statement said the circular also mandates full compliance with the Civil Service Council’s regulations governing official work, along with amendments, and suspends previous directives issued under exceptional regional circumstances.
It noted that the circular also cancels post-Ramadan working hour adjustments and any provisions conflicting with the Cabinet decision issued Tuesday, reaffirming a full return to the regular official work system across government entities.
