Contemporary Art Platform takes part in MENART Fair Paris
The event spotlighted women artists from the Middle East and North Africa, celebrating their impactful contributions to the contemporary art scene.
The Contemporary Art Platform took part in the 5th edition of MENART Fair Paris, held from September 20-22. This year’s event spotlighted women artists from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), celebrating their impactful contributions to the contemporary art scene.
The CAP stated that it presented two sections at the fair, both located at booth A1. The institutional section featured remarkable works from the CAP collection, including pieces by Samia Halaby, Etel Adnan, AyaHaidar, Saloua Choucair, Leila Nseir, Shirin Neshat, and Gazbia Sirry.
The general section offered a diverse selection of works by artists from across the region, showcasing both Kuwaiti and regional talent, such as Farah Behbehanifrom Kuwait, Rama Maz from Syria, Laila Shawa from Palestine, and Raniya Sarakbi, Zein Daouk, and AfafZurayk from Lebanon.
The CAP invited visitors to explore the unique works in both sections at booth A1, where experienced a blend of powerful narratives and diverse artistic expressions.
