“Commerce Ministry” halts transfer of food truck licenses

Sources told Al-Rai that the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Khalifa Al-Ajeel, issued a decision to stop transferring food truck licenses, whether by selling or assigning them to others.

The sources indicated that Minister Al-Ajeel’s decision followed a meeting with the Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Housing Affairs, Abdul Latif Al-Mishari.

During the meeting, they discussed the suspension of mobile cart license transfers, as well as the cancellation of licenses for mobile carts that fail to comply with designated locations or licensing requirements.
