CJP founder Dipke to face SEM Court; student leader Neha Bora released

Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke is set to be produced before a Special Executive Magistrate (SEM) court in Delhi following his arrest under preventive provisions ahead of the “Lehra Do Tiranga” protest at Connaught Place on October 16.
Delhi Police initiated action against Dipke under Sections 126 and 170 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS). Meanwhile, All India Students’ Association (AISA) president Neha Bora was released after completing detention formalities, according to Indian news reports.
The detentions took place amid protests demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. The Election Commission has denied allegations of bias.
