Civil Service Bureau gets ready to retire long-serving employees

Transitioning staff with 30 years of service into retirement would pave the way for the bureau to hire new staff and elevate current employees to supervisory roles.

The sources stated that there are 700 employees working in the Civil Service Bureau, stressing the necessity of Kuwaitizing all jobs in the bureau and adhering to the replacement plan.

The Civil Service Bureau’s informed sources indicated that “they are currently referring employees with over 30 years of service to retirement. This action aligns with the decisions of the Council of Ministers and the bureau’s earlier circulars to government agencies.”

The sources informed Al-Rai newspaper that “referring employees with 30 years of service would pave the way for the bureau to hire new staff and promote current employees to supervisory roles. These positions will eventually be filled by retirees.”

They emphasized the “significance of introducing new talent into the bureau’s departments to shoulder responsibilities in the upcoming years.”
