Civil Service Bureau ensures candidates only rejected after 30-day absence

The bureau emphasized the importance of adhering to directives and decisions in a letter sent to ministries, government departments, and agencies.

The Civil Service Bureau emphasized the importance of adhering to directives and decisions in a letter sent to ministries, government departments, and agencies. It stated that candidates for jobs cannot be rejected by the central employment system unless they fail to report to their designated entity within 30 days of their nomination, according to Al Rai newspaper.

The bureau referred to the decision issued on February 18 which mandates all state agencies to submit their job requirements to the Civil Service Council for approval according to specified guidelines. Additionally, it cited Circular No. 4 of 2024 from the bureau, which approves job requirements across all government agencies under the central employment system.

The bureau added that recent nominations for positions in various entities were approved by the Civil Service Council based on received needs, “verifying the number of vacancies in allocated financial grades within the entity’s budget,” and confirming its requirements for various positions and specializations entered into the civil service integrated systems.

Therefore, the bureau emphasized that “no candidate from the central employment system may be rejected from working for the entity unless they fail to report to the entity within 30 days from the date of their nomination.”
