Citizen detained for alleged plot against national systems

The Public Prosecution has ordered the detention of a citizen on charges of joining a group that aims to illegally dismantle the fundamental systems in the country.

Additionally, the individual received training in making firecrackers and preparing poisons to achieve illicit purposes, according to a report published by the Al Anba newspaper.

The prosecution stated that the citizen was accused of intending to leave the country to fight with that group but was unable to do so.

Reports indicated that the prosecution interrogated the accused and confronted him with the charges against him, and investigation procedures are being completed.
