CITC issues new frequencies for launch of “5G-A”

The Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) announced the issuance of new frequencies in preparation for the launch of the advanced fifth generation technology (5G-A). The Commission also announced the suspension of third generation communications network services within a maximum period of June 2025, so that these frequencies can be reused to support and develop fourth and fifth generation communications networks, as reported by Arabic daily Al Jarida.
