The CBSE authorities have finally released the 2025 date sheet at cbse.gov.in. CBSE Class 10 exams are from February 15, 2025, and will continue till March 18, 2025. The CBSE Class 12 exams are from February 15, 2025, and will end on April 4, 2025.

CBSE Board 12th Practical Exams 2025
For the year 2025, the CBSE Class 12 Practical Exams for winter-bound schools are anticipated to be held from November 14 to December 14, 2024. For schools affiliated with CBSE that follow the regular academic schedule, the practical exam dates are expected to be from January 1 to February 15, 2025. However, it is essential to note that the exact dates may vary and will be officially communicated by the respective school authorities. Students are advised to stay in touch with their teachers and school administration for the most accurate information regarding their practical exam schedule.
CBSE Board Exam Timings 2025
The CBSE board exams usually begin with students reporting to the exam centre by 9:30 AM. The answer sheets are given out at 10:00 AM, followed by the distribution of the question papers at 10:15 AM. Students are then given 15 minutes to read the paper, from 10:15 AM to 10:30 AM. The exam officially starts at 10:30 AM and continues until 1:30 PM. For a few elective exams, the timings might be reduced by one hour, i.e., from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. It is important for students to arrive on time to avoid any last-minute stress and to ensure they are fully prepared for the exam.
No Clarification on CBSE’s Two Board Exam Format
Earlier, CBSE did announce a two-board exam format for the 2024-25 academic session. However, there is no official update yet on the specifics, but CBSE may release a notification soon clarifying the exam pattern and schedule for the 2024-2025 academic session. This would likely mention the details of format of the two exams, including whether they will be mandatory or optional for students.
