CBK reminds customers of deadline for fifth-issue banknote exchange

The Commercial Bank of Kuwait (CBK), in partnership with the Central Bank of Kuwait and the Kuwait Banking Association, is reminding customers that the deadline to exchange fifth-issue Kuwaiti banknotes is April 18, 2025.

As per the Central Bank’s decision, these banknotes will be withdrawn from circulation, according to Al-Jarida daily. Customers must exchange them in person at the Central Bank’s Banking Hall during official business hours, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., on the final day.

The bank urges those with fifth-issue banknotes to complete the exchange before the deadline to avoid complications.
