Camping season stretches to end of Ramadan by Environment Authority

Official sources revealed to Al-Rai newspaper that the General Authority for the Environment has approved an extension of the camping period until the end of the holy month of Ramadan. It was emphasized that the authority has coordinated with relevant entities, including the Kuwait Municipality, in this matter.

The sources justified this extension, stating that “it arose due to the moderation of the atmosphere, with most camps adhering to environmental requirements, fostering an opportunity to enjoy righteousness while preserving it.” They noted that “this extension aligns with the Ramadan atmosphere.”

The newspaper revealed last Friday that the Spring Camps Committee unanimously agreed to the citizens’ and camp pioneers’ request for an extension.

Additionally, the municipality reached out to the General Authority for the Environment for their opinion on extending the camping period until the end of Ramadan instead of its original end date on March 15th.
