Bangladesh Ambassador Visits The Times Kuwait
The Times Kuwait recently welcomed H.E. Major General Syed Tarek Hossain, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to Kuwait, during a cordial visit to its office.
The Ambassador was received by Tareq Yousef Al-Shumaimry, Editor-in-Chief of The Times Kuwait, and Reaven D’Souza, Executive Managing Editor. The meeting provided an opportunity for a fruitful exchange of views on a wide range of topics of mutual interest, including the longstanding relations between Bangladesh and Kuwait, economic cooperation, cultural ties, and the significant contribution of the Bangladeshi community to Kuwait’s development.
During the discussions, both sides highlighted the strong friendship and cooperation that characterize Bangladesh-Kuwait relations and explored opportunities to further strengthen people-to-people engagement, trade, investment, and cultural exchanges. The Ambassador also shared insights into Bangladesh’s ongoing economic progress, development initiatives, and its growing role in regional and international affairs.
The meeting underscored the important role of responsible media in fostering greater understanding between nations and promoting awareness of developments that contribute to stronger bilateral relations. Discussions also touched on the contributions of the Bangladeshi expatriate community in Kuwait and the importance of enhancing cooperation in areas that benefit both countries.
Al-Shumaimry and Mr. D’Souza welcomed the Ambassador’s visit and reaffirmed The Times Kuwait’s commitment to promoting dialogue, cultural understanding, and closer ties between Kuwait and the international community.
