Ban on sale, distribution of water pistols, water-filled balloons

The Ministry of Commerce has imposed an annual ban on the sale and distribution of water pistols and water-filled balloons from December 1 to March 31 to maintain public safety and order.

The Ministry, through Decision No. 108 of 2025, has mandated in its first article that the sale and distribution of water pistols and water-filled balloons be prohibited annually from December 1 to March 31.

The second article of the decision states that all relevant authorities shall enforce this decision within their respective capacities, and it shall take effect from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
