Bahrain Air Defence intercepted three missiles, drones amid continued Iranian attacks

Bahrain’s General Command of the Defence Force announced the interception and destruction of three missiles and several drones, accusing Iran of continuing its “systematic hostile approach” through targeting civilian facilities in the Kingdom.

In a statement on Wednesday, the General Command stressed that all military units remain at the highest levels of readiness and defensive preparedness to protect the Kingdom.

It urged the public to exercise caution and avoid approaching or touching any suspicious or unidentified objects resulting from the Iranian attacks, calling on citizens and residents to report them immediately to the relevant authorities.

The statement added that personnel of the Royal Field Engineering Unit are fully prepared to safely handle and dispose of such objects to ensure public safety.

The General Command further emphasized that the deliberate use of missiles and drones to target civilian facilities and private property constitutes a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law. – Kuna
