Asphalt works in progress in Abdullah Al-Mubarak; Al-Omariya begins next week
The Ministry of Public Works is continuing to maintain roads in the Abdullah Al-Mubarak area as part of 18 major projects to renovate highways and internal roads across Kuwait’s six governorates.
Engineer Abdullah Al-Mutairi, Deputy Supervisor of Contract No. 12, Farwaniya Governorate, Second Zone, stated that the work teams are currently laying the “Type 2” asphalt layer, which precedes the laying of the final “Type 3” layer in Block 8 on Street 802, 807, and 826.
He added the scraping work for the second layer on Street 828, 829, and 834, is ongoing and maintenance work is underway on the rainwater network in Rabia Block 1.
Al-Mutairi went on to say, “Next week, asphalt maintenance will begin in Al-Omariya Block 1, where rainwater network maintenance work has been completed. The rainwater network repair activities in Al-Rahab, Block 3 have also been scheduled.
