Appeal Court set next Wednesday to look into ‘terrorism’ case of three Tunisians

The Court of Appeal, presided over by Judge Nasr Salem Al-Haid, has set next Wednesday to issue a verdict in the case of three Tunisians accused of joining the terrorist organization ISIS and plotting attacks on mosques and Hussainiyas in various parts of the country.
The Criminal Court had earlier acquitted the defendants of the charges, which included affiliation to ISIS and planning terrorist operations. The case was subsequently appealed by the Prosecution.
The proceedings are being closely followed due to the seriousness of the allegations and their implications for national security.
