Amir, Erdogan discuss regional developments, Iranian-Israeli conflict

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan underscored the importance of intensifying efforts to de-escalate tensions, end aggression, and resolve conflicts through diplomatic channels.
During a phone call, the two leaders discussed the rapidly unfolding situation in the Middle East, with particular focus on the ongoing conflict between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Israeli entity, reports Al-Rai daily.
They strongly condemned the actions of the Israeli occupation in the Gaza Strip, describing them as violations of international laws, human norms, and universal values. Both leaders expressed absolute rejection of these crimes and stressed the urgent need to halt all forms of aggression.
The call also included an exchange of views on the latest regional and international developments, reaffirming the shared commitment to peace, stability, and dialogue in resolving disputes.
Meanwhile, the Kuwaiti authorities continued to closely monitor the regional situation. Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah chaired a meeting of the Supreme Defense Council the night before yesterday.
During the session, ministers and top officials presented comprehensive reports on the readiness of various agencies to respond to any security developments.
The Council emphasized the necessity for all institutions to ensure the uninterrupted provision of essential services, maintain adequate supplies, support the daily needs of citizens and residents, and do everything required to preserve national security and stability.
