American Woman’s League of Kuwait holds charity event at the Millennium Hotel
The American Woman’s League of Kuwait (AWL) hosted their December Members meeting by collectively bringing more than 50 women for a delightful dinner and a shared spirit of giving. While presenting several of their members with an Appreciation Awards for their excellent devotion, dedication, selflessness service and professionalism.
The event, filled with joy and camaraderie, had a significant purpose beyond a meeting. AWL united its members to support two local Kuwaiti charities; Bayt Abdullah Children’s Hospice (BACCH) and Kuwait Helping Hands. The attendees generously contributed to a cause which would make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need.
Bayt Abdullah Children’s Hospice (BACCH), dedicated to supporting children in hospice care, received a substantial number of toy donations. The outpouring of generosity from AWL members promises to bring smiles to the faces of young patients during this unforeseen times in their life. In hopes the gifts bring them some happiness and brighten their life’s.
Kuwait Helping Hands, an organization aiding impoverished families in local areas, also benefited from the gathering. The collective donations of clothes, shoes, groceries and toiletries gathered by AWL will be instrumental in supporting families through the months of December, January, February and March offering much-needed assistance during the winter session. During the delivery to one of their drop of locations the vibe was welcoming with a sincere appreciation of our members.
